□ Reading fluency (15-30 mins):
- Read to self or read to someone (pet, doll, teddy, younger sibling…).
- Choose a good fit book or Wushka text https://wushka.com.au/login/

We are learning to ask questions before/during reading and then search for answers in the text using the features of a non-fiction text.

Paragraph 3- Diet
Today you are going to write a paragraph on the diet of Platypuses for your information report.
Make sure you include at least 3 facts about the what platypus eat using descriptive and engaging language.
Some facts you could include:
- eat small water animals such as insects, shrimps and crayfish
- relies on its sensitive bill to find food
- eyes and ears closed, the bill can detect electrical currents in the water and can help to find food

Cinema Budget
You are going to plan a budget for a visit to the cinema.
You will need to include return bus fares, movie ticket and any food or drinks required for yourself (1 person). You only have $35 to spend.
Complete the task in your homework book.
It’s time to get outside! The sun is shining and Spring is here!! Go on a walk or play in your yard. What can you feel, smell, see or hear that tells you Spring has sprung? Record you findings and let us know!
