Today in swaps we had fun using Golidblocks. We learnt about how different things move including hinges, wheels and axels and belt drives.

Thanks to everyone that came along to our open night. It was a fantastic night and it was great to see everyone participating in the robot challenge.

The last couple of weeks the children have had fun creating catapults in integrated. Throuhgout the process of creating our catapults we have learnt about the parts of a lever including the fulcrum, load and effort. In small groups we have experimented with changing the fulcrum and other parts of a lever including the size. Here is a great slideshow that Mrs Mac has created that shows us in action.
