Miss O’Shannessys Classroom Just another Woodford Primary School site 

Last week the junior grades enjoyed an exciting space sleepover in the multipurpose room. We participated in lots of fun games and activities such as planets and astronauts (bobs and statues), turned ourself into astronauts, played balloon games, went for a walk down to the park and looked at the stars at night. Come in and have a look at the fantastic robots that the grade prep one and two students created during art. They showed some great teamwork while creating their fantastic pieces of art 🙂

During maths at home we have been learning about measurement. Last week we compared the length of our hand, foot and our height to one of the tallest men in history Robert Wadlow. We were al surprised how tall he really was. Here are some photos of what we made. The purple ribbons show how tall he was when he was 9 and 21.

We had great fun creating our classroom fisherman scarecrow. Here are some photos of the scarecrows * some are still in progress!
