Year 5 & 6 – Remote Learning Week 4 – Burpee Challenge

Ok, 5/6’s, got some energy to burn? Give this one a crack.

It’s simple. 300 Burpees. 

It’s not a race, It’s a test. Can you get it done?

It may take you 3 sets of 100 over 3 days, you may get it done this morning, maybe you want to race your big brother? Either way, 300 is A LOT. Find a good work out zone, make some room and get up & down 300 times.

It’s tough, you will sweat. I dedicated this work out to The Tigers – think of something that will inspire you to keep going when it gets too hard. Elsa and Anya even encouraged me to finish, when I thought I couldn’t get there.

How to do a good Burpee? Take a minute to watch and get it right.

Too hard? Won’t ever get 300? Simply take out the jump of each Burpee – now your just getting your chest to the ground and standing up again – that’s awesome too – and still an amazing effort to get 300 done!

Time yourself! How long does it take you to complete the 1000 Step Up Challenge?

My time was 45:22  – Can you beat it? How about your Dad? Your sister? Everyone have a go!

Simply find a step (anything around knee height) and start your timer!

I set up 10 counters (golf balls), So I only had to count to 100 – 10 times!

*ps – you may wish to do a few calf stretches first!
