Hello grade 5/6s!
This week, Bec and Mel have recorded a video together that explores the idea of “good” and “bad” stress. They will explain how the way we think about stress can affect how stress impacts our health. Mel will share some examples of times when she has felt stress, and what it felt like in her body. Bec will share some positive self-talk that helps her calm her downstairs brain when she is facing a challenge or a new opportunity. You will then complete a worksheet (attached) and reflect on any worries or excitement you have about heading back to school, and where you feel those feelings in your body.
