P-2 Investigation Project – Middle Island Warrnambool
This project will involve investigating (Week 8), designing (Week 9) and creating (Week 10) a persuasive poster highlighting why we should be protecting the penguins on Middle Island in Warrnambool.
Some family movies that you may find appropriate to watch with your children during these weeks. These include: Oddball G, Penguins of Madagascar G, Mr Popper’s Penguins G, Happy Feet G
Week 9
Today’s task is a follow up activity to last weeks task. Use a page of your scrapbook (blank page) and do a rough plan/map of what you will put on your poster and where. Use these examples below to help you for ideas. You may wish to include:
- Interesting words and sentences from Week 8’s lesson.
- A heading.
- Pictures from magazines, computer printed or hand drawn.
- Eye catching colours.
- A map of Middle Island.
