Learning Intention:
We are learning to structure and write an information report paragraph.
I can:
- organise my paragraphs using subheadings
- include a topic sentence
- include 4-5 supporting sentences
- include a conclusion sentence
Your paragraph will consist of 5-6 sentences:
- 1st Sentence – Topic Sentence
- 2nd Sentence – Supporting detail sentence
- 3rd Sentence – 2nd supporting detail sentence
- 4th Sentence – 3rd supporting detail sentence
- 5th Conclusion Sentence – Restate the topic sentence
Remember it is important to paraphrase your information into your own words.
