Learning Intention:

We are learning to evaluate the authenticity of the details in A Banner Bold.

Success Criteria:

We can:

      • Describe what authenticity is.
      •  Evaluate the authenticity of the details of the setting and reporting of events against knowledge from other sources. What is an Authentic text?

Authentic texts are written for “real world” purposes and audiences: to entertain, inform, explain, guide, document or convince.  In fact, authentic texts need not even be written words. Audio files, virtual tours, speeches, blueprints, photos,  video clips and other non-written items that can be read or interpreted are also considered to be text.

Publishing:

Choose one piece of writing from your literacy notebook to finish and publish.

Don’t forget to:

* edit your own writing. (Make sure you’ve used the correct spelling, punctuation and sentence structure)
