Independent Reading: Read for 15-30 minutes. Choose a book from home, your reader cover (if you have it), a Wushka text or an Epic text.

Reading Activity:

Answer the following questions about your text (can complete verbally, written or type on Seesaw note).

1.       Was this a good fit book? Why or why not?

2.       What did you enjoy about the text and why? What didn’t you enjoy and why?

3.       Would you pick a book like this again? Why or why not?


Writing:

“The Day My School Flooded”

Write a CRAZY, FUNNY story about what happened when the school flooded.

Some ideas… Water slide, school swimming competition, an aquarium, scuba diving… Possibilities are endless.

Have fun!


Maths Fluency:

Practice your counting goal by completing times tables facts out of order for your goal.

Example:

4 x ___ = etc…

Learning Intention: We are learning to understand the basic of division.

  • I can understand what dividing is sharing into equal groups
  • I can understand that division is the opposite to multiplication
  • I can use multiplication facts to help me with division facts
