This term we have been working on developing fables. We wrote our own fables first and then worked in a small group to produce a script from one of the fables written by a group member. We have practised reading them aloud and recording our voices onto Audacity. Then we read our scripts aloud to 3/4M and 3/4 KA. We were brilliant!

We have focussed on:

~ reading at a good rate – not too fast or not too slow.

~ reading with the punctuation.

~ following the text with our eyes, so we know when it is our turn to read.

~ using amazing expression in our voices to make it entertaining to our audience.

~ being in character and how that changes our voice.

Mrs Mac and Mrs Kenna filled the spaces for the people who were away!
